People say that love is blind when it comes to physical flaws, it would seem. We view our loved ones through rose-tinted glasses that overlook the crooked nose, bulging tummy or other attributes that might put other off. Hence, we always think our other half are more attractive than they really are.
It is often said that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and this goes to prove that beauty is highly subjective. What appears beautiful to one person may seem not beautiful to another. In other word, it is the person who is looking (the beholder) who has to form his/her own opinion whether a particular person, place or object is beautiful.
Lately I realized some people are so judgmental about other people choice and start giving label such as "beauty and the beast", "planet of apes", and so on. For me a person who has this kind of attitude is so shallow. We should respect their choice, should we? Look at Beyonce and Jay-Z, or even Dato' K and Siti. I believe what they really see is their partners' inner beauty, because the inner beauty is the real beauty.
As for me, BLY's imperfection makes him totally perfect for me......
