Happy Deepavali, Rani

Dear Diary,

Everytime Deepavali comes, I will remember of my old colleague who also happened to be my bestfriend, Rani.  

She was the best buddy I ever had and we had fun together.  She was fun to be around and had that special something that makes her stand out. She was totally like bright and cheery and sunny....  Every Deepavali I will visit her and family and had sumptuous food spread that prepared by her mummy.  

And suddenly, she just vanished in thin air.  I remembered that day.  She was feeling unwell at work and requested for an early release.  However, she didn't reach home.  We only got the news the next day when her husband came by and searched for her.  She was completely and totally vanished into thin air and couldn't be found anywhere until now.  Her mysterious disappearance has baffled everyone and alarmed the police.  

So, to my best buddy RANI....

You are the one in this life I'll remember,

Whatever you do,

Wherever you are,

My heart is with you.

No matter how far I'll always be near,

I will be right here....

Happy birthday Alan

 

Dear Diary,

This time, exactly 19 years ago I had received a best belated gift from the stork.  Like today, he was delivered while everybody were celebrating Deepavali.  How awesome!!  

He was our first baby and the first grandkid in my family side.  Gosh! I was on top of the world when I came to know that I was expecting.  Even though my pregnancy was smooth sailing, I was a bit down coz his dad was stationed across the world for two years. Thankfully, i have my family for moral support.  

He was supposed to be delivered on 21 November, instead he decided to see the world one week earlier that expected. After more than 12 hours of contractions pain, he finally arrived at 2.20 pm. When I heard him cry and held him in my arms, I totally forgot about my aches and pains.  

Dear my sweet Alan,

How the years go by,
How time can certainly fly,
From once just a thought in faraway dreams,
now into my arms and in my eyes gleam the presence of you,
Your laughter and smiles which go on for miles,
You are growing up so fast,
as I wish us moment to last forever.

You are someday be a man,
